Alexander was one of the organizers of the Boston Presbytery at Londonderry, N.H. in 1745.

Alexander lived at Home Lot No. 55 in Pelham, Massachusetts, located along Pelham Hollow Road in what is now Gate 11 of the Quabbin Reservoir where a cellar hole and remains of an animal enclosure remain to this time.
