A short note from Little Girl in Laurel & Hardy movies

Hi! Wesley,
Thank you for your letter.
I was born in Santa Monica, California not in Dublin, as you thought.
I had a wonderful time in Northern Ireland a year or two ago.
I am pleased that you enjoyed the GANG.
And thank you again for your enquiry.
Bye for now —- Jean Darling

Dear Ms.Jean Darling, If I may ask :Were you born in Dublin or the States? Is Darling your maiden name? I am asking because of your surname-I am tracing my mother’s genealogy-she is a Darling ,born in Dublin in 1913. I believe you visited N.Ireland this summer.
Kind regards.
Wesley Brown
